Director and founder of the Internet Research Institute for the Study of Islam and Muslims in Africa and a research fellow at the Center for Maritime Policy and Strategy Research

Dr. Moshe Terdiman holds a doctorate from the Department of Maritime Civilizations at the University of Haifa and holds bachelor's and master's degrees from the Hebrew University. Dr. Tardiman is the director and founder of the Internet Research Institute for the Study of Islam and Muslims in Africa and a research fellow at the Center for Maritime Policy and Strategy Research. His areas of expertise include: Islam in Africa, security and geopolitics in Africa, the Red Sea Basin, environmental security in the Arab and Muslim world and Africa, religions and the environment, and interfaith environmental cooperation
